Misk Art Institute
Misk Art Institute is a new cultural organization operating under the auspices of the Misk Foundation, established by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Led by Saudi artist, Ahmed Mater, the Institute was created in 2017 to encourage grassroots artistic production in Saudi Arabia and enable cultural diplomacy and international exchange. Focused on establishing itself as an artist-centred cultural innovator, Misk Art Institute will have its headquarters in Riyadh and an artist residency focused centre in Abha, located in Saudi Arabia’s southwest region of Asir. The Institute’s program will incorporate exhibitions and events, artist-led communications and an arts education program aimed at training and investing in the career development of young artists.

Amélie Canon is a young photograph from Art school in Brussel. Her work embraced dream inside society. Made of "faux decor" and simulacrum, these new contemporary landscapes take us to an exostism entirely build. In these special space, people walk, dream and became the actor of her aesthetic. Smooth, colorful, sometimes frozen, her point of view give an open door for the exhibition spaces, created to sell part of life.The small edition, 'Fantasmagories' embraces the idea of theatricality. Contained into a textil chest, the essay takes the reader in her fake universe.
WHAAA… TATTOO FAKETORY? It's exactly like wining at monopoly but then completely different... 'THE TATTOO FAKETORY' is the first fake tattoo shop where you can purchase the designs and make them a part of yourself, a part of your body "forever"! This shop will take place in the Sectie-C during the Dutch Design Week 2015 exhibition in Eindhoven. Hellorandmness is a platform promoting Design & Art project while exhibition. They are an Online Gallery/Shop which is specialized in weird, awkward, fun, but especially random designs. They curated their first exhibition at Salone Del Mobile in Milano in 2013, with a successful little different exhibition, called 'unleash the creatures'. Then they made 'MY SWEET DESIGN FAIR' on the Dutch Design week 2013, an unusual design exhibition, showcasing work in the context of a fair.
Once created, we don't systematically find a purpose for every projects, but still it doesn't mean that is not good design. Here you can find some of it.
